#90 Alvaca (Grass/Fighting)

Alvaca is one of the final evolutions of Provaca. It evolves from Provaca starting at level 30, when its Attack stat is higher than its Defense stat.

Biology

Alvaca are the knights of the forest. Like Provaca, they like to travel the world. They mostly travel alone or in small groups. These brave Pokémon are known to intervene in the conflicts they happen to come across in order to help the weak and powerless. Some would argue, however, that Alvaca's interventions tend to make conflicts worse and that they don't respect the agency of those they deem to be weak.

Alvaca are very popular with trainers. Because of their competitive nature, they're very easy to train and can get very involved in the gym challenges. They use the thin but very firm tree branches as spears.

Alvaca are mandatory Pokémon to own for people who want to become part of the Belgician military.
