#42 Flantern (Fire)

Flantern is the final evolution of Flamp. It evolves from Flamp starting at level 38.

Biology

Like Flamp, Flantern are generally distrustful of other Pokémon and humans. They are solitary Pokémon, that prefer to travel at night or in dark places to reduce the odds of meeting others. Some Flantern act as if they're vile and mysterious monsters in order to scare others away. 

Flantern eat Bug type and other small Pokémon that can't handle too much heat. They try to attract these Pokémon by generating the most beautiful flames and burning delicious herbs that create the most welcoming aroma. Once these mesmerized become get to close, Flantern increases the heat of its flames to burn the foe.
