Opten living in sandy terrain have gained the Electric type which has given them an advantage on coasts filled with Flying and Water. This has resulted in the careful Hendur.
Hendur mostly live on coastlines, but can also be found on prairies. The feathers on their head are able to absorb solar energy, which they use for Electric type attacks. They hide their eggs at the highest place they can find. From time to time they hid their nest with lightning to scare off predators. They are extremely fast. In recent years their habitat has been threatened by coastal building projects.
