Biology:
It is said that Pyrsent were once miners working for a greedy boss. The greed of the boss led him to disregard the safety of his miners, which led to a large accident in which many died. It is believed that Pyrsent are the souls of those miners, having returned to take revenge on everyone who shows any greed.
Pyrsent can manipulate the shiny stones on their body to look like valuable resources, especially gold. This way they're able to trap greedy people and bury them alive.
