Eeveelutions

'Eeveelution' is a portemanteau used to refer to Eevee and its evolutions. The word is a neologism based on the words 'Eevee' and 'evolution.' The term was originally invented by fans, but was later adapted by the Pokémon Company. There is discussion wheter Eevee itself can be seen as an 'Eeveelution.'

The eeveelutions have a couple of characteristics in common with each other. All of the eeveelutions have one single type, have to be evolved in a non-traditional manner, have a base-stat of 525 and have similar movesets.

The Belgica Region introduces four new Eeveelutions bringing the total of Eeveelutions (not including Eevee itself) to twelve.
