#26 Fottle (Grass/Fire)

Fottle is the final evolution of Hettle. It evolves from Hettle when exposed to a Fire Stone.

Biology

Fottle have  very special leaves that cause other humans and Pokémon to be burned when they touch them with the exception of Bug-Type Pokémon. Fottle often act as guardians of Hettle and low level Bug-Type Pokémon.

Like a lot of Grass-Pokémon, Fottle absorb energy from the sun using photosynthesis. But instead of using this energy for Grass-Type attacks, they are able to convert this energy into Fire-Type moves.

Although they are extremely friendly and loyal Pokémon, they can also be deadly hunters. The combination of heat vision, the ease with which they can cause fire and their Grass-Type healing moves are deadly when used for bad purposes. In recent years there has been the rise of Fottle Training Schools, these abduct Hettle from the wild and train them to be more agressive.
