Hettle evolves into Fottle when exposed to a Fire Stone.

Biology

When you touch a Hettle there's a fair chance you will get burned. Hettle themselves seem unable to control this power and scientists have not been able to minimize the effects. This has resulted into Hettle being somewhat of a social outcast, as people avoid them at all costs.

For some reason Bug-Type Pokémon don't get burned when they touch a Hettle. Bug-Types also like the smell of Hettle and often lay their eggs in its tail. That is why Hettle will often be spotted in the company of low level Bug-Types.
