#64 Iguantam (Steel/Fighting)
Iguantam is one of the final evolutions of Iguan. It evolves from Iguan starting at level 38, when it was resurrected at the Fossil Research Center.
Biology
When Iguan was first discovered there was a long debate between scientists on how Iguan should be reconstructed. Nowadays however most scientists agree that Iguantam is probably the most accurate reproduction of Iguans original evolution. The modern interpretation of Iguantam was only fairly recently discovered, thanks to new technology from Cinnabar Island.
Iguantam was a very friendly Pokémon that was mostly pacifist. They lived in large groups and only ate plants. When needed, Iguantam could be fierce fighters. Their large swordlike nails and big shields have earned them the nickname of prehistoric knights.
Iguantam have a complicated relationship with contemporary trainers. Many attempts have been made to train them for gym challenges, but because of their gentle nature it is nearly impossible to let them accept the idea of 'fighting for fun.'
